Aruba Beaches

Aruba beaches have the most beautiful pristine powdery white sand, which compliments the brilliant aquamarine hues of the ocean. The sun’s rays make the ocean appear to have trillions of tiny shimmering diamonds dancing on the surface.

The constant breeze of the cooling trade winds allows the hot sun to be easily tolerated and is appreciated by most people. There are some people who will not be happy with the windy atmosphere, but we love it!

Hold on to your hat and any other item that is light enough to blow away, including your half full drink!

Each of the Aruba beaches is unique, and I will tell you all about each one, but the one that we enjoy the most is the renowned Palm Beach.

Palm Beach

Palm Beach is a two mile stretch of beach located on the west coast of the island of Aruba. With its clean soft white powdery sand, and its beautiful blue green Caribbean water, it is our favorite of the Aruba beaches on the island.

The ocean is calm along Palm Beach, which makes it ideal for swimming. Whether you are a sunbather, a people watcher, or a water sports enthusiast, this is the beach for you. It is where all the glamorous high-rise hotels are located.

All of the Aruba hotels are open to you along the beach, with the exception of the Riu Palace. This makes it very convenient for you to take a stroll during the day and visit any of the Aruba resorts along Palm Beach. Enjoy a drink or have lunch at any of the open bars and open dining areas along the way. Shop in their boutiques for clothing, jewelry, souvenirs, toiletries, snacks, etc.

In the evening, after dining in one of the many fabulous Aruba restaurants, we like to take a walk on the lit up beach walkway to try our luck in one of the exciting casinos that can be found in each hotel.

The security guards at the Rui Palace will not let you on the property unless you are a guest there.

Palm Beach is where most of the action is.
